Rawai Beach at
the south end of Phuket is for sure not one of
the trendy area of Phuket Island,
rather a quiet one with quite
some metal sheets housings and areas simple defined as slum area. Lot's of small karaoke
huts, places with life music, restaurants and
many foreigners on the lower level of the capitalistic chain.
Beer flows, the ladies from Isaan
and elsewhere wait and
everyone try to have some fun, unfortunately
this low level brings scum from Australia, north Africa and other
places on this planet into the picture who cant control their temper
and that's one of the reason -among others- to hear the horn of the
ambulance many times in the night.
Further down
towards Rawai beach the bars get a little
big bigger and Rawai Phuket nightlife gets more
vibrant. There are some sporadic Coyote Go
Go on bar tables.
But the Rawai area
is quite often a rough one, were "farang"
bang each other after loaded with beer since
they know nobody bothers. Australians are some
of the most notorious, one has the impression
this guys from down under only come to Thailand
to let their pig out.
Rawai Beach is a
typical sea beach not many foreigners lay
down on the beach to get their sun burn done.
Many speedboats
and longtail boats offer their services to
bring the tourists to the marvelous islands off
the southern coast of Phuket.

spa beach resorts who offer the usual travel

do at Rawai Beach

filled
up with
beer in
the
night
and
sleep
long the
next day
to
digest.
Night
life at
Rawai
Beach is
not so
bad.
Plenty
of girls
at every
bar
behind
some
palm
beach
huts,
accommodation
are
cheap
and the
distance
to the
Phuket
airport
is about
40 km
over a
excellent
road,
usually
without
traffic
jams. |
Cheap
apartments
are
available,
bars on
the
beach
are
plenty,
beach
accommodation
are low
priced,
but between
any
accommodation,
resort
and spa,
beach
rooms,
beach
villas,
budget
hotels,
cheap
hotels
or
discount
hotels
there is
a road
to cross
to reach
the
beach.
Rawai
climate
is great,
just as
Phuket
climate
is top
of the
pop's in
general,
check
out this
tropical
beach
maybe
during
your
vacation
in
Phuket,
its also
very
popular
for
Thai's
at
weekend's
afternoon. You
ask
yourself,
what to
do ? not
much,
nightlife
fun,
girls
and the
sun will
put the
right
level of
burn on
your
skin,
well,
what
else you
need on

Phuket
vacations

not so
