Patong Beach

Opposite side of Patong Beach road are myriads of restaurants, Thai restaurants, naturally and other. Plus textile and
cloth shops, shops selling CD's, DVD's dirt cheap and all kind of fake stuff like shoes and hand bags, copy watches of Rolex
on other brands imported from China are offered on every corner.

At the south end are some quiet parts on Patong Beach where longtail boats are parked waiting for some tourists.

Patong is hard to beat in terms of the diversity of restaurants and food offered every few meters.

Restaurants of any typ can be found. Thai, Japanese, Chinese, French, Italian, Arab, Russian, German, Austrian, Burger, Vegetarian, Indian, Steak, Barbecue, Seafood, Pizza, 

A little bit further into the concrete, wood, plastic and metal sheets jungle are plenty of other bars and noodle stalls. There are jewelry shops, bookshops, shopping malls and a brand new huge mall -jung ceylon- this shops over 3 level, a hotel, supermarket and the almost only place in Patong Beach to park the car.

Some Thai guys try to place some strange creatures of the small dragon type on your shoulder, make a photo...give some money is their message.

At about 3 pm the first guys with the red skin already hang around in the small bars along Bangla Road and get their first beers uploaded, the TV screams, the DVD bang out the latest English songs.

The early 2 leg butterfly move in on their hunt for "farangs", Thai ladies are here for business.

But the real thing at Patong is emerging when the sun disappears, darkness creeps in and the nightshift
starts.

The center of Patong (video) nightlife is Bangla Road, at daytime packed with delivery pick up's, coming to life after 8 pm. Patong bars, go go nightclubs, open air bars along the road and the alleys branching off Bangla Road. Every evening around 5.000 ladies and young guys from all over Thailand, some from Lao and Myanmar or Burma offer their services to thousands of tourists from all over the world and this is not limited to guys.

Dozens of mini-skirted ladies parade along Bangla Road, Patong's main fun zone. Some "farang" have a flirt with them, and after some action in one of the many cheap hotels behind the eastern end of Bangla Road. Others stare glumly into their Heineken beers or do some pool shoots. Here are videos .

The bars pumping obscure

and well-known songs through their speakers, the problem is, every bar do their own music which quickly become an acoustic disaster, sometimes it needs some earplugs, many people don't know when enough is enough.
