Pansea Beach is
north of Surin Beach, stretched along the waterline
for about 500 meters, with some granite boulder at both ends.
Near to the airport, quite far
to Patong and Phuket Town, both are about 25 km to the the south
but its not isolated since Surin Beach is in walking distance, about
10 minutes walk.
The beach is dominated by the Chedi
Hotel Phuket, a very nicely built construction into the hill
behind the beach with thatched cottages in sheltered coconut groves.
Beach cottages and bungalows. Some years ago the Chedi Hotel beach resort was
known as the Pansea Hotel Phuket.
Several other up market hotels
are on the road between the Chedi Hotel and Surin Beach, there
is the Twin Palm Hotel Phuket and a brand new Marriot Hotel both
have no access to the beach but are very beautiful resorts. |
