Friendship Beach is at the southern part of Phuket Island, between Chalong and Rawai on the left side when driving southwards.

The beach has a nice palm tree front and is dominated by a small Thai style beach resort with beach bungalows and cottages. with palm trees. The little problem is, like with every other beach on Phuket east coast, the water is very shallow, means not very suitable for swimming and at low tide the the sand is visible for about 100 m from the usual waterfront.

To Phuket Airport its about  40 km to the north, over a excellent 4 lane road without traffic jams. Its very close to Rawai Beach, only 5 minutes drive.

Just beside the Beach Resort a huge apartment block is currently being built
